By preparing seeds for planting, you’re helping achieve the ambitious goal of 300,000 new trees by 2030 — restoring ecosystems and creating thriving habitats for future generations of wildlife.
This immersive, purpose-driven day blends education, teamwork, and nature connection — proving that every great forest begins with a single seed.

Event Summary
- Location: Staughton Vale, Victoria
- Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (approx. 5 hours)
- Sample Schedule:
- 9:30 AM – Meet at public meeting point in Anakie; convoy to KCF headquarters
- 10:00 AM – Welcome, introduction, and seed sowing demonstration
- 10:30 AM – Begin hands-on seed preparation and nursery work
- 11:30 AM – Morning tea and reflection break
- 12:00 PM – Continue seed sowing activity, supporting future tree planting
- 1:30 PM – Lunch under the eucalypts; koala expert presentation
- 2:30 PM – Closing reflections and departure
- Transportation: To be arranged (meeting point in Anakie, VIC)
- What to bring: Comfortable outdoor clothing, closed-toe shoes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and a readiness to connect with nature
