NatureBoss News: June 2024 Updates

SUSTAINABILITY STATION ACTIVATION

We recently co-exhibited with Le Meridien Melbourne at their Marriott Makes Magic night. We thought this would be a great way to unveil our new activation baby - NatureBoss’ very own Sustainability Station.

The Sustainability Station aims to create an immersive and interactive indoor environment space, that fosters environmental awareness and encourages active participation to educate on conservation and carbon offsetting.

We had many event planners, heels and all, actively engage in the station by riding an exercise bike, visually demonstrating the carbon diverted from the atmosphere through biking instead of driving, with a real-time display tracking total kilometres ridden and carbon offset.

Along with our one tap, one tree activity, the night resulted in one tonne of carbon offsetted and 16 trees being planted.

TEA THERAPY AND BRACELET MAKING IN ADELAIDE

At the recent National Suicide Prevention Conference in Adelaide NatureBoss provided two short lunch time activities for the conference attendees to engage with to help them relax and recharge after being involved in the heavy program content.

We had tea therapy, where there was a range of unique and quirky tea tasting flavours to try, while hearing about the benefits of tea and mindfulness, as well as a bracelet making station, where both Swifties and non-Swifties were able to sit and create beaded bracelets with clasps. Overall it was a wonderful success, resulting in 36 trees being planted.

INDIGENOUS ART WORKSHOP

Just one of many team bonding experiences on offer with NatureBoss, we recently organised a group with Ke Creative to attend an Indigenous Art Workshop in Adelaide.

The session was filled with bright colours, creativity and story telling, all while learning about Indigenous culture and history through art.

This workshop resulted in NatureBoss planting 28 trees, our own little mini-forest!

ANZ PURPOSE MARKETPLACE

ANZ on Collins Street Melbourne invited NatureBoss to run our sustainability station at their Purpose Marketplace. Hundreds of ANZ employees wandered in and around the different exhibits throughout the day, with many jumping on our bikes to either leisurely ride or totally sweat it out for five minutes to win a voucher from our amazing friends at Stokehouse Restaurant in St Kilda.

Through this competitive peddling, and tree purchasing intitative, NatureBoss' presence at the ANZ Marketplace resulted in 19 trees being planted and 1 tonne of carbon offsetted.
